Day 1: Chiclayo – Huaca Rajada – Tumbas Reales
Arrival in Chiclayo by bus or plane and transfer to your hotel.
You will start this tour with a visit to the archeological site of Huaca Rajada, the original tomb of the Lord of Sipan.
Our next destination is Tumbas Reales. This museum shows a great collection with many (golden) objects that were found in the original tomb from the Lord of Sipan.

Day 4: Trujillo, Huaca del Sol y la Luna and Gastronomic
This tour starts with visiting the archeological site of Las Huacas del Sol y la Luna (tombs of the sun and the moon). This are remains of gigantic tombs/ temples from the Moche culture (100-700 AC). Several structures on this site are still decorated with well conserved paintings on the walls. These paintings/ murals, together with the many beautiful decorated golden and ceramic objects that have been found on this archeological site can be seen in the onsite museum.
After learning more about the history of the Moche, you travel to the coastal town of Huanchaco. The fishermen from this town still use the same model of small reet boats as the Moche civilization did more that 1000 years ago!
In Huanchaco you will receive a Ceviche demonstration and get time to learn how to make a special ceviche norteño. Of course, we also get to taste the ceviche.
In the afternoon we visit the famous Doña Carmen for a bite of sweet.
At 17:00 h we finish our tour with a typical Peruvian dessert and cocktail in Casona Deza.

Day 2: Museo Sican – Bosque de Pomac – Tucume - Bruning
Todays special archeological tour starts with a visit to the Museum of Sican. This museum shows a great collection with (golden) objects which were found in Bosque Pomac.
From the museum you will make a short hike through the dry tropical forest of Bosque de Pomac (Batan Grande). During the hike you will be able to see different bird species, typical to this area and learn more about its history.
Next you will visit the adobe pyramids/ ruins and ceremonial plateaus of Tucume.
At the end of the afternoon you visit the well-known Bruning Museum. This museum includes a very complete collection about the history of the surroundings of Lambayeque. For example: detailed textile and ceramics from the Chimu and Vicus culture; ceramics + golden objects and jewelry from the Mochica and Chimu culture + several other objects from the Lambayeque, Moche, Chavin and even Inca culture.

Day 3: Chiclayo – Brujo – Huanchaco - Trujillo
On your way from Chiclayo to Trujillo you will visit the historical important tomb of Huaca del Brujo and its interesting on site museum about Señora de Cao.
Lunch in the fishermen’s town of Huanchaco.
After lunch you will visit the famous archeological site of Chan Chan. The tour includes visiting two of the most impressive structures on this site: Huaca Arco Iris and Palacio Nik-An which shows different nature, bird and fish motives on its adobe walls.
Arrive in Trujillo around and overnight in hotel of choice.

Day 5: Trujillo – Sechin – Huaraz
Today you travel from the coastal desert through the amazing Cordilleras Blanca (White Mountain Ranges) to Huaraz.
On your way you will visit the archeological site of Sechin. Sechin is one of the oldest astronomical and religious complexes of Peru. It is also the first place in Peru that suggests human sacrifices on a stone facade together with suggestive motifs of warriors in procession. The museum on site shows the drawings of their gods.

Day 6: Huaraz – Laguna Llanganuco – Yungay at Campo Santo
This tour starts with visiting Carhuaz, known for its great ice-cream. Then you continue to Laguna Llanganuco. This brightly colored lake is surrounded by snowcapped mountains and trees from a fairytale story.
You will have time to make a short walk around the lake before the tour continues to Caraz. This town is known for its tasty manjar (kind of caramel cream).
The last stop of the day is in Yungay at Campo Santo. On the 31th of May 1970 a heavy earthquake and the following massive avalanche buried this whole town and most of its citizen under meters of ice, mud and rocks.

Day 7: Huaraz – Chavín de Huantar
From Huaraz it is a very scenic route through the Andes towards Chavín de Huantar with views over snowcapped mountains and the attractive Querococha lake!
The archeological site of Chavín consists of temples, subterranean galleries and sunken squares and was constructed about 800 B.C. to honor the Gods of the local civilization. One of the main attractions is called ‘El Lanzon’ a huge sculpture of about 4 m high, in the shape of a knife. Other interesting signs include the “La pared de las Cabezas Clavas” or “the wall of the Key Heads”.
