At 7:00 am we travel by private transport, or enter the local public bus which brings us in the direction of the Cebollapampa Valley. We get out of our transport at the Base Camp of Cebolla Pampa, at an altitude of 4000 m. From here we start our spectacular ascent of about 3h30 min. to one of the most beautiful lakes in Cordillera Blanca, called Laguna 69, at an altitude of 4600 m. The trail takes us through a fascinating landscape of rivers, waterfalls and mountains.
This famous Laguna 69 has an intense turquoise color and is located at the base of Chacraraju (6112 m) and Pisco (5800 m) mountains.
