The scenic route from Chachapoyas to Cajamarca is already an excursion on itself for everyone who likes nature.
Along the way we will also visit interesting Museo de Leymebamba. This museum has a good exposition with information about the several cultures that have lived in the Chachapoyas area. The museum shows a great collection with more than 1000 objects, including 219 mummy’s which were partly found in Laguna de los condors. The collection also includes old, ceramics, carvings and weapons.
